Practicum

The Practicum section will provide some ideas, guidelines and resources that will be helpful to you during your practicum.

Ideas will include things that are useful during your lesson/unit preparation and delivery, including some organizational management techniques.

Guidelines will include specific instruction about your weekly meetings and your associated responsibilities. It will also state musts during your placement.

Resources might include references to places like your practicum pages of the courseware and to the Prof190 website, but generally these resources are found in other locations such as the Ministry of Education sites. They could be very helpful to you, especially as they generally fit nicely also into the ‘ideas’ realm.

This section will continue to be a ‘work-in-progress’. Check back frequently as material will be added as the year progresses.
